Hi,

Sorry about the self-indulgent thread topic but I really need some help....

Been trying to do a bit of running to get back some fitness. After about five minutes of running I start to get an insane ache down both sides of my lower back. Any idea what could be contributing to this?
Note: I wear the same shoes I used to wear when running before (they are still in real good nick) & I've tried running on grass and ashphalt (both flat services)...

First thign that comes to mind, your hamstrigns are way to tight, strech them regulary,
a good thing to do, is strech after your hot shower in the morning, and strech after your shower at nite.

Get the guts off.
You may need to walk for a while before starting back running.

Forget the Physio......he'll give you some exercises and probably ultrasound something.

Go see an Osteopath if you want to get better.
