Hi Guys

What do you use to put your plans on paper? Is there a particular program you use? Do you have templates?

I've tried Basketball Playbook - I find it cumbersome (sp?) for entering plays but great for viewing them.

:P

i generally do em on Basketball Playbook, i agree not the fastest nor easiest to put em in, but great to view.....

when drawing them up on paper, or whiteboard, i tihnk its good not to put to much info on the set, its better to draw more clearer diagrams then one or two with lots of overlapping lines etc...

I have version 7 of Basketball Playbook but it is annoying for not being able to see and review steps in the set at a glance.

Probably the easiest thing I ever did prior to the advent of BP was to simply use MS Paint to design a court and then copy that 4, 6 or 8 times onto an A4 page.
I had different numbers of copies on a page so that I could use the one that best corresponded to the level of detail or number of moves in the set.

well i spent 25 ins trying to write and draw it up on paper, and it took 3 mins to do it on playbook, and its much neater and clearer..

what a waste of 25 mins..

I don't use playbooks. Just "find your player", "look up" "hands up", "get back in D".

I use my voice for these
