hitting up dandy on saturday night.. maccas 300th... with dandy hitting some bad form.. can they win?? for one of the greats of australian womens basketball. truly an amazing achievement for anyone and deserves a win on this occasion. im just hoping that the rangers have that same fire in their belly that pushes maccas defensive stops and hard ball gets so that they can pull through and beat the spirit who are playing quite well!!

I just wanted to congratulate Macca on reaching 300 games in the WNBL. She has built a career on hard work and team first basketball. In an era where flashy individuals seem to reap all the rewards, Macca is a true insperation and is really someone young girls should model their style of basketball around. Good luck for the bg game Mac!

As long as they also remember to learn to be an offensive threat as well.
Otherwise they will limit their potential as she has - which is an unecessary shame.

All time great Defender but needs to be because has not offensive game, or if she does refuses to use it.

Have seen her three times this season and opposition defences are leaving her open anywhere outside the key has she will not shoot if there are more the 5 sec left on the shot clock.

i think that she must have bought into the fact that she can't shoot... I remember one game up here against Sydney a couple of years ago where they completely left her open on the perimeter in the 1st half then all of a sudden she started to shoot and proceeded to score 3 x 3 pointers and 2 long 2's in the second half!!! If I remember correctly the rangers won the game too!

anyways... well done macca! every coach keeps spruiking defense over offense and you epitomised that and managed to get highest stage of the game.

Well they couldn't manage to win it for her.
I found it a very low standard game to watch (maybe I've just been watching to many NBA videos?).
I am still surprised that Bendigo were able to stay in the game - much less win it - but that is probably only because of KristiH.
And Caitlyn Ryans travel with 1 second to go rather than getting up the clutch shot was very ordinary.
Maybe she should have done a little less celebrating a few minutes earlier when she managed to knock the ball out of Harrowers hands - only to then watch her nail a 3 pointer on the next possession.
However EmilyM did take some shots and score some points - although only after doing the usual never looking at the basket for the first half.

Lets hope Macca scores 50+ points in her last game, That would be so funny if she did, maybe she would think twice about leaving the game. Anyway Congrats Macca and good luck in the future, You have been a great player & person and will be missed in the WNBL.
P.S Shoot the freakin ball this weekend. :D
