i was gonna call channel 10 and ask personally but i checked their website first and its listed in the program guide.

Only thing i'm not sure of is if it's AEST or AWST. The website lists sydney showing it at 6.30am and perth showing it at 6.30Am, so i can only assume perth is on a delay??

Hell yeah its permanent! Its on channel 10 DIGITAL (So you need a digital set top box) I watched the first game this morning. Very nice coverage. Just like a normal game. Not many ads and every second of the game with higlights of other games too. Games are on every Monday and Friday. Here is the schedule.

Really?? lol! You have to go to channel 10 "digital". you need a digital set top box. When you have there should be like 4 different channel 10 pre-sets. One of which will be 10 digital. Make sense?

All star game is being shown on Fox (ESPN-Australia) so very much doubt Ch10 would be able to show it as well.

It was a great game, high quality broadcast too. Missed out on most of the half time report but that was the only negative. Even a couple "NBA where amazing happens" adverts appeared. Would like to see a couple of bucks games in the future and of course the all star game would be great. Was well worth waking up early for.

I set the tivo for 630am hoping SC10 picked up 10HD, but no dice... the stock standard elevator music and high def of some river out west.

I could actually get 10HD (got to see a nice amount of NFL and F1) up until a couple of months ago when it disappeared.

So there is no way of getting 10HD in Wollongong. The only HD channel that I can get from 10 is SC10HD. Is it impossible to pick up the satelite or whatever for the Metro version. Help I dont understand.

2 = ABC
3 = SBS
5 = Southern Cross 10 (we are considered regional!)
6 = Prime (7)
8 = Win (9)

Thats for Digital. Then to get HD, you add a zero to the end of each channel. ie Win HD is 80, Prime 60 etc. Is that how it works in other areas? I wouldn't have a clue and I realise I must sound like a newbie lol

Do we have to manually programme this channel, do we source it, tune it, should it just appear etc ??? I wouldnt have a clue.

SC10 HD is in place of 10HD, so you might have to ask The Customer to send of his current set of NBA cards from 1991 to you too..

I'm pretty sure that's correct. We (the newspaper I work at here in Albury-Wodonga) contacted Sthn Cross a couple of weeks ago to see whether we would be getting it here, as the Freeview site said we wouldn't be. Outraged, we were going to do a story on it (and hopefully shame them into providing it) but the people at SCross assured us regional affiliates would be getting it. But like you CoachYT, I've got all fingers and toes crossed. Hard to type though :wink:

I thought the same thing but then I realised that FTA channels don't shift times depending on your time zone like Foxtel does. If the CH10 advertises it at 6.30am, then its shown at 6.30 local time around the country.
