Congrats to Tom. Another olympic home team, another challenge to get them up to standard. At least he speaks the same language this time.

Yes they are the olympic home team but they have not been granted automatic entry into the olympics. They must qualify if i remeber reading correctly. FIBA released that because they are not a known basketball counrty that they will have to prove themselves.

Not the know all you thought your were eh ???
Tom coached the Mystics in 2001. He had a shocker finnishing 8th with 10 - 22 win /loss stat.

Yep - at the moment Tom is the coach of the U12 Bulleen Boys team!!!!
(although granted he is signed to coach the WNBL team for next season)
