EDIT: Due to FOX and ESPN having rights to the finals... oneHD can't broadcast the games for a minimum of 24 hours. So even though oneHD has advertised they are getting the finals.... u have to wait 24 hours and dodge all your mates with foxtel and the internet if u want to enjoy it in HD goodness!!! SO CRAP!

So the finals are supposed to start (australian time) on friday morning 11am AEST. OneHD doesn't look like its going to be showing it live!! As i've checked the TV guide and Game 1 is scheduled to be aired at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Anyone know whats really going on?

...oh and yeh Lakers in 6 :P

I agree. Lakers in 6.

Dwight Howard's gonna have a hard time keeping out of foul trouble. Unlike the Cavs, the Lakers have big guys who can score and attack the basket. Should be a high scoring series.

I'd love to see the Magic get up though, as much as I doubt it'll happen.

Would like to see the Magic take out the championship butyeah I think the Lakers will win it in the end

Game 1 is live tomorrow on ESPN at 11am EST and the pre-game show is live at 10:30am EST. Here in SA Game 1 is being shown on One HD on Saturday at 4pm in a two hour package.

Game 2 on ESPN is on Monday at 10am EST with the pre-game show starting at 9:30am EST.

As much as I'd like to see the Magic get up I think the Lakers will do it in seven.

Good Orlando got their first ever NBA Finals win last night. You know they win another game with 75% field goal shooting in the first half like that. But anyway, only three more wins to go. [Impersonates Bela Karolyi's voice] "You can do it!" :)

I'm still disgusted at Jameer's attempts to headbutt Kobe's elbow with his jaw.... What a ****. Who does he think he is...

That has got to be one of the best no calls in finals history... Kobe didn't initiate contact, nelson run right up into kobes gril and copped and elbow as kobe brought the ball up... totally legal.

Pietrus shoulda got a flagrant 2 as his "foul" or should i say assault on Gasol could of ended very badly...

D Fish was clutch and a huge Ariza 3rd quarter was amazing.

oh and good to see Nick Andersons been coaching Dwight on how to choke free throws!!!

the Lakers fans! You guys are funny.

No mention of Kobe's rape of Dwight under the basket?

I am kinda getting sick of the soft fouls called on Pau and Bynum, also Dwight, for trying to establish position, either defensive or offensive. It's ruining the games. Call the hacks, but let the damn body fouls go.

Orlando had 17 more foul shots. I haven't seen today's game yet but the trend of the series so far certainly hasn't been of overt favouritism to the Lakers. FFS if they called every illegal screen that Howard sets (ie EVERY screen Howard sets) he wouldn't be on the court for 2 minutes.
The first 3 games have seen some bad calls both ways and pretty much anything goes in the last quarter with the whistle put away....for both teams. I look forward to watching the game tonight to see if that continued

I know Pete wants Lakers to win, and I would rather see Magic win, but the man speaks the truth.

Agreed on Pietrus. But Jameer wasn't in Kobe's cylinder... it should have been a foul on Kobe. They even had an overhead shot to show it.

What a great defensive perfomance by Howard wasted. They should've won last night. At least put a hand up on that Head Emissary of Evil, Michael! You just can't stand there as he jumped up. Somebody on the Magic had to foul Derek Fisher to stop him from shooting that three.

Last night, EA Sports announced Superman himself, Dwight Howard, to be the cover guy for NBA Live 2010. For the covers in Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, I expect Andrea Bargnani, Pau Gasol, Boris Diaw, and Dirk Nowitzki all get theirs, respectively.

Even moreso Jameer had to get a hand up on Fish's last shot.

There I was thinking "Yes! Asshole Kobe's back, Orlando has a shot at this, when Kobe waved off the pick when getting testy with Pietrus' D." and then they don't pick up the most likely guy to beat them at that point where he'd be most comfortable.

Probably should have. But neither it nor any of the other numerous calls they missed for both teams decided the outcome. Orlando's inability to hit foul shots and Fish's stainless steel cojones did.

Tell that to that poor girl in Colorado. Wait to you see how much Kobe try's to squeeze his kids into all the post-championship celebrations. Sickening.

Finally winning a championship without leeching off of Shaq ain't gonna change a damn thing.

Eh? What are you trying to get at? That everyone is forgiving him for hs previous off court antics because he won a title?

No, I was talking about the girl that was bleeding enough from her anus that Kobe used a t-shirt to try and clean it up.

He wasn't proven innocent he just wasn't proved guilty. What did he end up paying her via civil proceedings again, $4 million to keep quiet? At least the wife got a new rock out of it though.

He's not the greatest anything and Shaq made him a "world" champion a long time ago (multiple times) and I learnt to live with it back then.

I still don't get what you meant when you said this championship "don't change a damn thing". In reference to what? A lot of people doubted his ability to win a title as the main guy (too selfish/immature), so I think he has proven a few wrong.

Ok what I meant was it still doesn't change the fact he's a piece of shit.
