This latest signing is Huge and you would think this would make them championship favourites. Now with 3 quality bigs they will be very hard to beat this year.

Gahan's intangibles is what is going to hurt Adelaide if she does not re-sign. Cayla and Shelly play too similar a position so it'll be interesting how they operate if they both hit the floor at the same time.
Gahan is or mine was the oil that kept a great engine motoring the right way.
Nonetheless, Adelaide's gain leaves an enormous hole in Bulleen's line-up- Lucky for them the next big thing was signed early in the piece.

So very true t or d!
They have not replaced Gahan or covered the point position that was so obviously a weak link.
Wallbutton could be a surprise packet, but I see her and Woosnam as the same style of player as is Cayla and Shelley.
They are hoping that Duke can continue developing and that Foley can have an Opals making season.
The ingredients are there and Finals will beckon with this talent.
Can they defend a Canberra or Bulleen?

Camino returns to ADELAIDE! Knee op and rehab going well, she'll hit the floor with her old team.

Wasn't aware she had injured a knee again. Must be a concern for a player who relies a lot on her hops.

That's great news for Adelaide, I have never been looking more forward to the WNBL as much as this year, The top 3 or 4 teams are stacked with top players, there will be some Awesome games to watch this year, I wish Fox Sports would bye the rights to show some games this year, One game a week on the ABC is never enough.

heard it was the same knee as last time and she's gone the quick fix synthetic. Hope rehab is proper and she comes back in good knick.

Shelly will play her first game this season on Friday against Dandy, Im sure she will make a big difference with her inside game and might even be able to teach Cayla a thing or two about playing in the post.
Im sure Adelaide will hope she will be able to play the following game on Sunday against Bulleen, as they will need her defensive skills against Cambage and Bulleens other giants. I look forward to the match up against Bulleen but wish Foley was playing to make the teams more even.

good news for adelaide...hopefully she can give them a lil bit of leadership out there...somethin severely lackin in their last game...
will be interesting to see how they run when they're new 6ft4 american gets here too...that gives them a forward lineup of Francis, Woosnam, Wallbutton, Burston and the US Import...thats a heavy rotation...one i cant actually understand though...

good too see renae back...should help with the back court...biggest issue here is the front court...and they are now adding another big...that makes 5! not lookin good at adelaide...think there is a bit of heat on the coach...
