How did your kid's rep team go this season

My U/18 son's team finished top of Met 3 after running second most of the second half of the season, courtesy of a last round win by 35 points while the top placed team lost to the third placed team in the last round.
He gets this Friday off, but will train or go to watch the 2v3 game.
He heads into the finals after a 20 point @ 89%, 7 board, 3 assist game so his confidence is up.

My U/12 boy wasn't so lucky. He is bottom bottom age. Just turned 8 years old and playing U/12, regional 3.
Can't get much lower. The team improved hand over fist throughout the season though.
Very happy with that. Highlight being a 1 point win over top placed Frankston.
Finished off with a last round draw 25 - 25 after leading with 6 minutes to go and 9 points up.

Bring on 2010 ............... after a few mornings that I can sleep in instead of getting up for training of course.

You could be regional 4 of course :) - although maybe not in U12
I had an U14 who finished top of the bottom - and an U16 who finished bottom of the top - not sure who is the happiest - but they are both bottom age too, so they'll have another crack at their age groups starting in a few weeks time :rolleyes:
And to make matters worse it looks like number 3 will be fronting up for U12 - although I am not sure how 3 kids into 2 parents will go.
