So much hype but will much change?
The last few free agency peroids haven't seen a whole lot of stars changing teams but with so many available this could be crazy. Who knows if LeBron is going to leave Cleveland or not, his mum is saying that he will stay, friends seem to think he will leave. Hopefull he goes, the league will receive a massive boost if he does.

I reckon Ray Allen, Manu Ginobili and Dirk Nowitzki will sign extensions during the season.

Yao Ming and Micheal Redd will probably take up their player option. Yao because he is unlikely to play this season and Redd because I don't think in the currrent economy and with so many better players available that he will get a better deal.

As for everyone else, they're a mystery.
I'm most excited to see what will happen with Amare, LeBron, D-Wade, Bosh and Joe Johnson. Johnson just turned down a 4 year 60 million dollar extension with the Hawks.

According to hoophype Rip Hamilton is signed until 2013.

If Rip has any common sense he'll stay put assuming he hasn't already made that decision.

He's a system guy and is the kind of guy who can be hurt in a major way by going to a different team where they aren't prepared to set things up for him and run him off of screens on a routine basis.
