The heights above are wrong too. Muresan is the tallest player in NBA history not Bol and Yao & Bradley are the same height (7'6").

I think Sam is 223cm, which would put him on the list. I heard he was the tallest person in Aus. Can anyone confirm that? Could be a marketing gimic we could use, but with PR out and him not getting a DP gig tomorrow, you'd have to question whether he will get a DP gig at all.

Suleiman Ali Nashnush (1943 - February 25, 1991) is one of twelve individuals in medical history to reach or surpass eight feet in height. He was a Libyan basketball player and actor. In 1960, he successfully underwent surgery to correct his abnormal growth. He was one of the tallest basketball players ever at 8'0½" (245 cm) and played for Libya.

Nashnush also had a small role in Federico Fellini's film Satyricon where he played the role of Tryphaena's attendant. He died on February 25, 1991, just 47 years old.
