Great article and insight into the teams road trips. But you left out who the biggest jokers are on teh team ???? We all love to hear who plays the practical jokes within the team.

Yes, hopefully we can convince the girls to get their faces on the camera and have a chat next time.

Hey great job!!
Maybe you can also help them win a game! Seems you guys are working a bit harder than some of the players are!! hahaha
Keep up your great work!

They'll get there! I really think the side will play it's best BBall in the new year. The coach has been saying this for the past few seasons but this team has the foundations, they are fit and will but it's obvious they are taking some time to gel.
I really think they're a chance to finish in the top half of the bottom end of the ladder - they've got seven or eight wins in them this season

wonder if they've taken the camera on their Queensland road double this weekend ? If so, they could have themselves a couple of box office horror smash hits.

Good Call, although I do think Perth is improving and will beat a few good teams at home this year, their imports just need a little more time to get into the groove.

Would have to agree on the import point.
They are good quality players (unlike previous years) but will take some time to gel in the team and feel comfortable in their new surroundings (inside knowledge here).
But when the imports click, and the youngsters get over their stage fright every 1st quarter, they should be more competitive and hopefully knock a few teams out of the finals race towards the season's end

Well LMSC, you do a good job but I think your judgement is a bit off.
Yes their imports will take some time to fit in, but in saying that, they are two of the youngest people on the team (even though it's a very young team).
Maybe... just maybe... they need a decent bloody coaching staff. They are a young up and coming group and no, they aren't going to take over the world even if they had a Tom Maher coaching, however, the current coaching staff are a bunch of useless twats.
Good on them for basically doing the job for NOTHING, but as the old saying goes, you pay bananas you get monkeys! And lets be damn sure they're DEFINITELY getting monkeys!!!
This group of girls are young, but trust me they ARE talented and they are a GREAT group of girls. Get rid of the coaching staff and they might just have a fighting chance.

You've actually agreed with me.....?
Coaches are coaches are coaches. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the womens BBall scene to make a judgement on who'd be better (also given BWA's budget is the same amount they spend on coffee). However they have added some goods support crew. Vlad has come over from Sydney, I understand he was highly valued, a physio and a psychologist.
But they are not going to get anywhere if they keep do the same things badly. How many weeks in a row can they give up a bucket of free throws? It's the third game in a row where it's been the defining point of the game. You could argue that it's a coaching issue. Either they (coaches) are allowing it to happen with a style that's too aggressivem or they can't controll their players on the court.
