Seems like a quiet revolution is going on down there.

Leigh Gooding in the new position of basketball operations.

Mark Hewish elite programs coordinator seems to be gone?

Change of coach for the SEABL women after only 1 season.

Darren Perry was gone - now seems to be back again.

Johnathon Goodman maybe moved on?

Warren Pink from girls to boys.

The new GM seems to be saying all the right things.

Rumours of illness at the top.

Does anyone know what is actually going on?

Is Dawson still coaching SEABL Men, or has there been a change here as well?

Goodman gone; reportedly to Melbourne having resigned from 18's and WNBL assistant positions. Cukier no longer assistant to Waters. Hewish gone.

Warren Pink coached 18 boys last season

Dawson dumped, then apparently was the best candidate for the job when it was advertised again. So has been re-appointed.

That's still a lot of changes - and not insignificant ones- someone must be driving something.
Don't suppose you care to elaborate on that "recruiting policy" bit?
Wasn't Dawson the reason DC left?
I'm surprised it took as long as it did for DP to get the MH DOC role (if I can join in on these abbreviations). It looked like he expected to get it 2 years back after he dumped the Breakers. Maybe he had to leave to force the issue? Is his kid still in the program too?

I forgot to say before that I was also impressed by the coat of paint on the inside a while back. No seriously. It did brighten things up considerably.
And the merchandise shop at the front is a good idea (I once tried for 6 months to buy a beanie, ringing some guy up on his mobile, and never did get one).
Although when will someone get round to removing that overpowering smell of stale urine from the older style mens toilets. It's always seemed as if the cleaners p*ss on the floors as they mop them.

Dawson is also the assistant coach for the U18 mens Vic Metro team, so will have a bit on his plate soon.

Perry does a great job with the kids at Dandy, is a great addition to the program out there.

I did one of my coaching courses under him some years back and he brought his personality to it and made it very interesting and more enjoyable (when he turned up that was).
I parallel that with doing a coaching course under Bill Runchey and ...

It's about time they got rid off some of the dead wood around there. Just like the toilets, things may start to brighten up? Once they get a bit of personality injected with people that are there for the kids rather than themselves and their own little power trips, it may not seem like hanging out at a social security office and actually more like a basketball club!
