NBL Tipping competition

Hi Guys,

I am currently part of a tipping competition with my work mates (NRL - I don't like the sport, I just tip for the fun of it). The site we tip on is www.footytips.com.au and it includes many other sports, including NBL.

I have set up an "OzHoops" competition and was wondering if anyone was interested in joining? I want to get as many as possible. In our NRL comp, we had 15 people tipping, so it was quite competitive.

I already have 3 people signed up (not counting myself).

If you guys know other people from the other Basketball forums, get them to join as well.

On this site, there is also fantasy league (not for NBL though) as well and a few other games. So you can go that as well if you want. But I am only interested in tipping at the moment myself.

Just a quick note (and I hope the mods understand this is not a bump), I will be changing the password of our tipping comp an hour before tip off for the first game. This is so everyone who has joined up has a chance to tip every game and to prevent random people joining after the comp has started.

Come on guys. Not much activity here. Melvin Lord of the Boards and I (Sofukhis Shortsareinsidehisarse) are on 18 and representing Ozhoops and the Hawks at the head of the table. My current streak is at 10, one behind the leader and I have it on the line tonight tipping the Crocs. How's everyone alse doing if they are in other comps?

5th overall in official nbl tipping comp (equal 3rd), slipped to 38th in fantasy comp but i am still 1 of the main threats for the title as i have only used 4 trades to date.

Im recovering after a disatrous 1 from 5 opening round to currently be just outside the top 100 with 16 right out of the last 20. At this rate I should take the overall lead in the comp by about round 18-20 ;)

certainly not, I am not good enough to make a pro sports team. just saying i will probably win 2 very minor tournies in nbl tipping/fantasy.

umm im equal 3rd in nbl tipping comp, look for my name for proof. i think im 21. got 4 wrong all year, went for a few upsets and missed them.

incorrectly tipped breakers last night. all good as all my threats would have tipped them also.

I did the same. A few of those 2 or 3 behind went for the Hawks. Did not tip in the streak comp for the Hawks Breakers game, but did pick the Cats taking my streak up to 13 which is 2 ahead of the next best active one. In saying that the stupid footy tips site is showing the Tigers winning against the Cats. How many in the NBL tipping comp. There is 3,899 in the footy tips one.

Got the streak up to 15 after the weekend. Picked the Cats, Snakes, Crocs. Next best active streak is 11. Have been pretty agressive with the streak selecting 3 or so each week, but so far so good. Also leading the tipping on 25. Equal 1st with one other after 3/5 last round.

I am guessing the postponement of the Cairns v Wildcats game from last round has thrown the NBL tipping comp into disarray as they haven't updated the standings as of yet.
