And that's why Casey Calvary was ranked #1 last season: 33 pts, 12/16 FG, 9/11 FT, 6 reb, 2 ast, 4 stl, 2 blk. BLAO!

Sam MacKinnon had a good game!!! :D
Shit, it's rare these days, can't blame a dude for being happy!
16 points on 7/11, 13 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks! Shame he can't hit a free throw to save his life (1/4) but i'll take the rest of it. And Stephen Black had 24 points and 5 assists, made 4 threes, and hit 8/10 free throws.
I think Bobby Brannen musta been high or something because he sucked again. I TRADED FOR THE ****!

once again thanks for bailing me out CoT. Mind you Egan has cooled way off and Copes isn't exactly on fire either, so no real harm done either way yet.

I cant believe that Bradtke, a guys thats averaged over 10rpg for the past 10 seasons, has yet to hit double figures in a game. And he's got 6 in each of the last two.

i can. his minutes and his touches are down. a handful of hogeys rebs wouldve come from putting back his own close-range misses. he's still averaging a solid 8rpg
dissapointed in myself for not drafting calvary ahead of smith. beh. unfortunately i saw zero nbl last season and am only now coming to grips with his awesomeness

Could I please take this opportunity to remind everybody that Gary Boodnikoff was a seventh round pick (in a 12 team league). Thank you.

Boodnikoff was round 8 in league 1 and rucker was round 5, but melmeth was round 3 and brannen was round 2. ????

thats the way it pans out. brannen has been a rock up until this season. he was huge for me the year i won it. i had boods either last season or the season prior to that and he didn't do much other than hit the occaisional three. last season i scoffed at sj at taking j smith in the first round and he went on to be a fnbl superstar, so this year i take him in the second and he's been smoking balls for 5 weeks.

whilst on the topic of pointing out.
Saville 7th pick... Looking good at the moment.
Lucky i benched Melzer for his best game of the season.
Little D Bailey picked up plenty of assists, and his 31 against Hunter was a nice bonus.
Thats the only stats ive looked at so far.

I just had a look at my team for the first time in about 3 weeks and realised I got Braith Cox on my team even though he's injured
No wonder I've played 28 games, less than everyone else
Ah the joys of FNBL. I'm pretty much not even really playing the game. I lost interest the moment Burston got injured last season, and the interest factor has dropped again, coinciding with the loss to injury of my starting Centre for the second season running :? . This time it's Rice.
So what should I do? Drop Cox? Is there anyone who actually gets time who might benefit my team who I can pick up?

**sigh**
Its been , what a month and people are losing interest

Maybe I shouldn't have joined up in the first place. I knew I'd lose interest. In fact, I probably wasn't interested to start with.
Anyone want to offer me a trade though? Not that you'll want to take injured players, I'm kinda hoping someone will swap a crapper player than one of my injured ones. Although Rice is my only injured player who would be of use to anyone. But right now, I think I need to actually get a player who will log minutes because having 2 injured players in a team of 9, with 8 active, aint good...
hang on a minute, cant I just pick up someone off the FA list?
Show's how much attention I've been paying

Yes you can, you just need to advise me first when picking up a FA.

If you're not going to answer my PM (are u? lol) then do I have to drop someone from my team? And it won't affect my waiver wire pos?
EDIT: Presuming it doesn't affect my waiver pos, I'll take Caporn, and Paul Rees from the FA list for league 2. If I have to drop 1 player, I'll drop Miles Pearce. If I have to drop 2 players, I'll drop Miles Pearce and Braith Cox.
Please confirm all this so I can change my team.

THIS is the exact reason I lobbied to be in League 1, to be with the serious players. My team might be sucking at the moment with injuries and lack-of form, but I sure aint quitting after ..... 5 weeks! :?

I'm not quitting, I made some moves last night. It's more a lack of interest from the start, hence I had Braith Cox on my team for 5 weeks, when he was injured and there were better players anyway.

I agree with CoT..
if there was a lack on interest from the start, then way eben join..
Its just a waste of a spot that someone else may of used.

Nah I was interested before the season, to be honest I think it was the whole way it was run that killed my interest. msn draft etc. And I was extremely busy with an overload of uni work at that time, so didn't get a chance to properly prepare.
Last season when we did the draft on the boards I had my spreadsheets happening, doing all the analysis, that was the real fun part, trying to figure out who would be a steal, who's output would increase, but that fun element was taken away to a degree this season. Not that it's anyone fault though.
